Drive growth through strategic, complex sales across Europe
As Sales Executive / Head of Sales EMEA at PDM Technology, you take full ownership of the end-to-end sales process for the advanced Bluestar PLM solution. Sales cycles typically span 9–12 months and involve multiple stakeholders within large manufacturing and engineering organisations. Your primary focus is new business and subscription-based revenue (ARR) across the EMEA region.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Driving the sales process from MQL (Marketing Qualified Lead) through SQL (Sales Qualified Lead) to closed-won opportunities, using our data-driven methodology.
- Engaging directly with senior engineers and VP-level decision-makers, translating technical requirements into clear business value.
- Collaborating closely with the pre-sales team, involving them early to deliver compelling demos and technical presentations.
- Following a structured sales playbook to ensure strong process execution and disciplined pipeline management.
- Contributing to a KPI-driven sales culture where pipeline quality, conversion rates and customer fit are measured systematically.
You will also have the opportunity to take on leadership responsibility for two sales professionals in Germany, should you bring experience and interest in team leadership.
Your success is reflected in your ability to generate new subscription agreements and win high-value enterprise customers. You ensure Bluestar PLM delivers measurable value by tightly integrating CAD, PLM and ERP into one unified environment — enabling long-term customer relationships and strong ARR performance.
You create new business and drive international sales
You bring solid experience in complex B2B sales of technical software solutions to engineering or manufacturing companies — ideally where the solution integrates deeply into the customer’s value chain. You thrive in an international setting and are motivated by hunting, building relationships and closing new deals.
Your professional background includes:
- Experience selling complex software solutions such as PLM, CAD or ERP.
- A strong hunter mindset with a proven track record in new business and pipeline development.
- Confidence engaging with international customers and senior-level stakeholders, including senior engineers and VP of Engineering.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem — preferably with an existing network in ERP or Dynamics 365 environments.
- A hands-on approach to the field: you enjoy customer visits, industry events, trade shows and summits.
- Leadership experience is a plus but not required — the key is commercial drive and independence.
