Sales Manager - Grooved Piping Systems, Nordic countries

Do you want to drive and grow sales in the Nordic countries, focusing on identifying new project opportunities and cultivating relationships within HVAC, Fire Protection & Industrial sector?

Your role

As an integral part of the commercial team in the European Region, your primary focus is to drive and grow Shurjoint grooved sales in the Nordic countries. You will have two daily focus areas.

Firstly, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new project opportunities and maximizing commercial potential. This will involve the following tasks:

  • Develop and grow professional relationships with engineering and contracting organizations, mainly in the HVAC & industrial sectors.
  • Project tracking of medium to large projects in the commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Provide onsite and office-based training on the Aalberts IPS Shurjoint product range and carry out product demonstrations together with technical service colleagues.
  • Manage and provide technical support to engineers, contractors, and distribution clients.

Secondly, you cultivate commercial relationship with potential distributors, optimize and enhance Shurjoint distribution network in the Nordic countries to ensure local stock availability and service level for project needs.

You will report to the Sales Director of Europe for Grooved products and work closely with the existing sales team in the Nordics. You will work from home, and travel when relevant.

Technical self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit

This position requires technical knowledge of building services, which you have gained from either an engineering degree or your working experience. You have a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in piping systems e.g., related to HVAC, Plumbing, Mining, Oil & Gas, Tunnel, or Industry.

Your insight into the different design and construction phases from project planning to execution is solid, and you have the ability to plan and organize workload autonomously to achieve short and mid-term sales targets.

As a person, you are enthusiastic and have a strong work ethic. You have the ability to work as a part of a small team across international business divisions. Your skills regarding communication and relationship building are strong both with contractors and consultants.

You speak English and at least one Scandinavian language, Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish.
