Country Manager, Denmark including responsibility for Greenland, Finland, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands

As Country Manager overseeing DESMI's sales activities and markets in 4 Nordic countries, you have a crucial role in driving growth and expanding the customer segment.

You expand the customer segment beyond the country border

DESMI Denmark has a strong position on the Danish market as platform for further expansion in Denmark and other select markets in the Nordic region. As the Country Manager you will be responsible for the sale of pumps and systems. Along with your sales team of 12 skilled employees, your primary objective is to proactively approach these markets and position DESMI as the preferred choice when customers make decisions about pump solutions.

Your main responsibilities cover:

  • Responsibility for local business activities in line with the group objectives, strategies, procedures, policies, etc.
  • Sales management of the local sales team and shared support functions.
  • Building and maintaining long lasting customer relationships, including hands-on sales activities to selected key accounts.
  • Support of cross-country coordination activities to other KAM accounts for greater sales across for DESMI Group.
  • Communicating input at group functions regarding local market requirements, including coordination and alignment with group management.
  • Participation in exhibitions, conferences, and other sales promoting activities.

Alongside working hands-on with the sales tasks, you motivate and coach your employees to foster continuous development and to ensure that results are achieved together. You lead by example and are willing to go the extra mile when needed.

Besides an expected travel activity of 40-60 days a year, your office will be located at DESMI’s headquarter in Nørresundby.

You have a technical background such as an engineer or Bachelor in Technology Management and Marine Engineering and have several years of experience with technical B2B sales. In addition, you have undergone management training and have experience with management in a sales department from previous jobs.
