Your primary responsibility is to drive growth in the Scandinavian markets across the entire product range, leveraging networking skills to establish fruitful relationships and expand the client base within the food industry.

You will use the initial learning period to lay a solid foundation for future success, including understanding the product range, market dynamics, and internal processes. After some time, you will have autonomy over own budget and have significant influence in crafting the sales strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Your main tasks are:

  • Cultivate connections within the food industry to enhance market presence.
  • Identify and generate leads through various channels such as cold canvassing and industry events.
  • Project sales and effectively communicate Unique Selling Points (USPs) to clients mainly in the food industry.
  • Showcase the value proposition of the products to potential clients, highlighting their benefits and competitive advantages.
  • Engage in the entire sales process, from initial contact with clients through various channels such as cold canvassing or engagement at exhibitions.
  • Nurture leads and guide them through the sales funnel, ensuring a smooth transition from prospect to client.
  • Evaluate projects and proposed solutions in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Ensure alignment between client needs and proposed solutions, leveraging internal expertise to tailor offerings accordingly.
  • Engage in negotiation processes to secure deals and finalize agreements with clients.

Profile

To succeed in the position, it is important that you have relevant experience with technical products and processes in the food industry, as well as a customer- and sales-oriented mindset. Your educational background is not crucial. Instead, it is more important that:

  • You have experience from the food industry, equipment suppliers or similar; or from working with technical project management. The important thing is that you have a sales and customer-oriented mindset and the ability to convert leads into customers.
  • Ideally, you have a network within the food industry or equipment suppliers, and strong negotiation skills.
  • Preferably you have technical knowledge or an interest in freezer plates, including their capabilities, energy efficiency, and installation requirements.
  • You understand complex machinery, paybacks, and calculations, and have knowledge of pricing processes.
  • Fluent in Danish and English
  • Ability to travel, with an average of 80 travel days per year.

  • Attention to detail with documents, given the various variables to check and calculate.
  • Calm demeanor and attentive listening skills
